I've had three. So if, as they reckon, everybody has one...............two people somewhere owe me big time for having theirs for them!

I've lost count of how many I've had, put it this way, I've had about 14 bikes in all my years of riding on the road and only 3 of them I didn't crash...

I've not came off once in my three and a half years on the road.
the few years before that on the field saw some good ones though.
I've had a "I dont know how the hell you held onto that" when i clipped my kneecap on a stationery car brakelight, then catching both my gear lever and handlebar on the car boot.
i still dont know how i did it, And all i can remember is thinking "i need to get my shoe back" when it had been knocked off the gearlever.
Hopefully there will be many more years of crashless riding though, I dont fancy trying to upstage you lot :P

Dropped my cbr600 twice in the same petrol station??? and later went on to write her off but i`m not sure that was officially my fault.... was a kamikaze pheasant flying into me and totally knocking me out. Me an my bike ended up in a 10 foot ditch but I was very lucky to escape with the injuries i had, could`ve been a lot worse. Worst mistake was not getting back on a bike for 2 years but am so glad i`ve now finally done it and i picked a fantastic bike for restoring my confidence, just wish i`d done it sooner

Wow thats unlucky! Glad to hear you are loving your SV

Well people seem to be putting down how many times they have crashed!

1st time was in the strinds in the peak district on my Honda VT250F, i was turning right on a junction, when i got onto the road i was turing to i found there was mud everywhere from a tractor the bike just went from under me... no chance!

2nd VT250 again, was doing 20MPH comming upto a parked car touched breaks to stop for oncomming traffic BAM on the floor faster than can be imagined. Diesel.

3rd The SV650s, Going around a blind corner at 45 in a 60 zone, dont know why i was cruising tbh! MAD, glad i did because some cretin pulled outin a transit pickup across me (from a mud track which was blocked off, he had parked in the small space and taken out his quads! NOB). I slammed on the brakes pulled to the pavement but stull clipped him with my right hand and right side of bike. How i stayed on is beyond me as i was kinda facing sidways from the impact :S

That one hurt a fair bit... + i lost the bike while it was gettig fixed.

Locked the front going downhill on gravel. My protective shorts and t-shirt held up well, to the point of filling my hands and knees with gravel (they remove it with a wire brush). Happy days

Haven't crashed my SV although I did gift wrap a taxi with my Aprilia 125rs back about 5/6yrs ago. Right knee still cringes in the cold to this day..
