Yeah cheers gents, a bit ring rusty from the break and a bit short of confidence with the road surface at the moment but not bad for the first time out this year.

On another note, for any fans of the Helmsley TT, it has been well and truly closed down by the miles of double white lines along the route.

Have they painted more double white lines since last November Rob ? I last rode it then and it didnt seem too bad. The traffic was very light though.

Graham, I rode it just when they were painting Clay Bank and had it closed to Chop Gate. Now they have double whited much of it, making overtaking opportunities rather limited. It certainly is noticeable when getting behind a bit of traffic on those sections.

Did go out with my friend who has a SVthou... Got the bike wound up for the first time today with the roads been ok...ish. The front wheel came up at 120MPH Commin upto 9K revs in 3rd and the front felt a little vague got to just under 10K revs and the front lifted... nearly **** me pants! (was on a slight bend on the bypass...)

Cheers guys, got me all enthused again, may pop out to Whitby fo another bimble this afternoon.

I was going to go out to the Hawes ride out by my missus didn't get out of bed until 2 minutes ago !!!
so I took the kids for a bike ride, and then whilst the kids were playing play station I went out side and washed and polished my bike...
I'm sure it wasn't that dirty last time I put it in the garage...


Oh and here is Ben & Parsley birthday party... Yes they are soft toys. but the kids won them 4 years ago at the fun fair...

Just back in, roads were nicer today, and the sun even came out briefly. Took out my helmet cam and managed to record only 10 secs, but the carrot cake at the Whistle Stop Cafe was worth it.
