You don't lose the heel plate on the GBMoto ones, if you can fit the master cylinder then you can fit a heel plate. Not sure if GBMoto supply one but you can fit one.

I have the Rosmoto's from JHS and I don't have a heel plate on the left hand side, never had any problems without it.

You get both heel plates with the GBMoto rearsets and both can be fitted to the pointy with the original m/cyl.

I'm not sure about the curvy though.
