I took my lad pillion when he was 7. He was tall enough to reach the pegs and sensible enough not to squirm or do anything stupid.
It's not really age - it's more size and attitude that have a bearing on taking kids as pillion. |

I've only been Pillion once, right after I did my CBT my friend took me out on his Bandit 600. Whilst scaring the hell out of me - not being able to see where we're going apart from glancing left and seeing grass pretty damn close! - it also cemented the belief in my head that I had to get one of these things! 6 more days to go!

For the ultimate "pillion experiance" I would recomend a Bangkok Motorcycle Taxi - maybe only 110/120 cc but.......YIKES!
 .......yer soon realise why the national sport is Motorbike accidents.......
