I made some foam packing to go around the reservoir and then sat the battery on that. Was all good.

Yeah that's fine too, so long as you've not got contact between moving metal and the battery.

It's ALIVE!!!
With help from Aron (ad53ggz), we've managed to put the shock in. Didn't have much of a ride yet but you can certainly feel the difference. It turned out that I wasn't too far from fitting the shock at the first attempt, just didn't have the most important tool for the job - a rubber mallet ![]() Oh, and it turns out that you have to cut a bit of the tank hinge to fit the C1H model. |
