It's the hole that is below the shackle. measure it from side to side and the depth

I'm afraid not. I respect them and have pointed a few fellow mates your way, esp the one with the street triple which in my eyes must be about the most nickable-to-order bike out there at the moment.

J/k about the tail pack. tbh it'd probably never get used, give it those who need it.

... if you could make your chains as strong as they are, but the size and weight of a sink plug chain...

I shall definately be buying an almax when I:

a) Have to park my bike on the street with any sort of regularity
b) Have a bike worth breaking into my fortress-like garage for

whichever comes first.

There is a thief out there somewhere who thinks you already do have!

As a result of this thread, when I next review my security arrangements, I shall have Almax at the top of my list to supply if I decide I need an additional lock & chain.
