For anything organic and less than a foot tall... Just lean back, pull on the handlebars a little as you give it some throttle. Sounds mean, but is often quite safer.

Emergency swerve and emergency brake are both very useful skills, but best not combined until you've got a lot more practice at each!
+1

Rabbits that have escaped with their lives generally don't have the means to pay for bike repairs

Hey no probs,

I have been doing the bike back up over the last few weeks, its pretty much altogether, Ive replaced the fairing, exhaust (got a nice Fuel one) replaced indicators, front brake lever, etc so I was all set to go, until about a week and a half ago when I wheeled it out to finish it off and I dropped the bugger! (I must admit it was 06:30am and I was a tad hungover!) but the only damage was the gear lever which snapped! I have the gear lever and a new set of mirrors sat at home waiting but Im in Italy at the moment around lakes, and will be fixing first thing tomorrow when I get back.
All the bikes round here have been making me miss it really bad!

Hi,

Yea fairings all matched and bikes all back to nearly good as new. Just a couple of very minor points to sort out (tiny scuff on rim, fender and mirrors) but they are hardly noticeable!

Actually went out on it for first time since the spill today!

Ok well last thing to fix on the bike was my mirrors. The right one received a fair amount of scuffing when it went down. I did order some mirrors from Webmoto, but they arrived and were pretty poor quality, so I decided to refurb my current ones.

Heres the damage:

Mirrors all taped up:

Then after a good hour of sanding down, spraying, sanding again, and then spraying a couple more times ....

There not 100% perfect but cost less than a tenner to do and are much better quality then cheaper replacements.

The bike is back!
