makes me realise how mortal we are- especially riding a bike- to a degree thats why we do it- that ispart of the thrill. but it is so sad- so young what a waste

I watched the race live and it became pretty obvious that he was out cold on the track while he was sliding. The lack of any replay etc started the alarm bells going that this was a bad one.

I pray that his family and friends work through this tough time, that Pitty can work through any guilt he may have and that the paddock can work through the loss of one of the rising stars of the sport.

Yep pretty close to home this one. He came from my home town of 21 years. Very sad. RIP Craig Jones

RIP Craig - a sad loss. I recorded the event but was watching live but left the house straight afterwards, couldnt watch anymore. Deleted the DVD.
