That depends on how patient you are, my front end cost me about £300 all in including new brake pads, new wheel bearings, new lower steering bearings and a part worn tyre

A breaker quoted me £600 for a complete front end before

Yeah pretty much all came from ebay, ended up scrounging a nut off Northy though and got a few of the smaller bits from dealers

I'll explain it all when I see you next Geoff, I have a complete SRAD 750 front end on the 800.

hey there guys. there's a chap on svrider.com that has '95 USD forks on his wife's bike. said it went on without needing special bearings AND he's running it with the gixxer front wheel speedo. he had to "persuade" new steering stops and the ignition a bit, but that's it. search for 'pre srad' on svrider for the thread. i'm going this route. just sourced a whole frontend for 200 quid. waaayy cheaper than the new stuff. it's getting serviced now by my local suspension guru, then i'll fit it taking pics all the way. will start a thread soon.

SRAD is a far better front end 'sasv650s', a much better front end. Thought the speedo off of the front wheel on a pre-SRAD GSXR was cable driven, the SV's is electronic. You will need to fit tapered roller bearings when changing to pre-SRAD.

The beauty about the GSXR750 SRAD front end is as standard it suits the SV very well, it is also easy and well known how to service and revalve to suit too. For optimum performance and balance the rear will need looking at too.
