Soon to be fixed yes!

I've never wanted crash bungs - I can see the point if you're sure the bike's just gonna slide but in this case; and in others I've seen, crash bungs can dig in, flip the bike and make the damage worse. Obviously I'll never know now but hey ho!

Yeh bungs are probly more handy on a road bike than track.. Perhaps some Race fairings would be good.. I know it's abit of messing around changing it all over but could save you money and worry in the long run..

True, true. I'm yet to decide whether trackdays are a hobby I can afford to pursue but if I am to do more then yes, I would consider race fairings, trailer, the full works.

I really enjoyed yesterday and pushed myself and the bike harder than I have before and I haven't decided whether it's given me the bug or whether it's out of my system, if that makes sense ie, I'll either do loads more, or no more.

Cheers,
Matt

To be fair.......I'm considering crash bungs after yesterday I cant fecking stand them and think they make bikes look completely horrible, even more so on mine as you have to cut the fairing.

But when chris dropped his at mallory it was pretty much spotless and was fixed within an hour after a new clutch lever and rear set was sourced.

The pro photos should be up tomorrow morning it says on the website. I want to buy any decent ones of me.

Did Chris's bike go on the grass / gravel G?

Those photo's of you coming round the hairpin are good - you look a lot more relaxed than me through there!

I'm just praying that the pro got a photo of my clutch lever sparking through those left-handers! (Probably not!)

Just been reading back through the thread and found this - I wish it was that simple! I've been down to the garage to have a look this eve and had to walk away again - I think I'll tackle it at the weekend!

Well Ive seen pegs pipes and other bits of undercarriage going down and sparking, but the only time a clutch lever scrapes is when you have just fallen off.

Nope, clutch lever was down through the left handers a couple of times, G can confirm! I thought it was my toe slider to start with which has never happened cos I keep my toes right up on the pegs, but the footpeg and clutch lever both ground out. It started to wear away the rubber on the underside of the lever. Pilot Power 2ct's are good! I went down later on the right hand side when I wasn't even leaning very far! Just hit a dirty part of the track.

I think you mean gear lever. Unless you have switched your bike to a car configuration! Race pattern shift is sooooo last year
