Driveway design - Help Required!

right got a 1.5 ton hippo bag on the weekend as it was cheaper/easier than a skip - WRONG filled it up this morning and phoned for pick up to be told it would be done in the next 5 working days - WTF? I have two days off to crack into this, now I have no chance at all.

What approach are you taking in the end? Can you not move the bag off your property temporarily?

no - it is now full thanks to the help of my 8 year old, who's school is closed today!

Hadn't got as far as approach tbh - seemingly the project is bigger than anticipated.

You did read the link Embee posted? A mate just spent a small fortune putting in a driveway and has just been served with a notice to tear it up or face prosocution (Something like a 5 grand fine!!) as it doesnt conform to new building regs.

Well anything I do will be no less pourous than it is now?

Approach - I mean, are you tearing up the steps/etc too? Or just digging until you're bored

You're gonna fill quite a few of those bags with what you've got there - 3 or 4? Just guestimating, but I did dig up a garden and filled up around that number with earth before, so not purely a guess...

Really you need to think what you're gonna be doing...but, if you want to leave that until you have a blank canvas (bare drive) then you need to unload that bag, move it out to the street, and load it up again. Although I'm sure it's technically illegal you could probably get away with leaving it on the path for a while (along with the other bags you'll need ).
