Hi Girth,

Cheers for the info.
Tried R&G for front fork protectors they only do them for the Sv1000. Looked at most companies but to no avail.

Same here decided to go over towards stone round to Uttox back to Rugeley, not liking this riding at night crap!

LOL I love the road from A51 to Uttoxeter !!! Was my fav road, and I agree I road back down A34 from Cannock and hated it. I must feel like you at the mo, the more miles we do the better it will get.

This time 3 weeks ago I couldnt go 500 yds on it so slow and easy does it. Hope to go for a bimble with ya soon, Kwak is good he blasts off then waits for half an hour down the road with a camera LOL

Yeah the more confident we get the better we should get. hopefully. Got a couple of lads at work who keep asking me to go out with, Daves got a TL1000s(widow maker), the other Dave a Fireblade and Mick a Ducatti, so that should be fun>

No, both Curvy and Pointy. A poor design is the main cause, ask one of the engineering staff at R&G and they will tell you the same.

For the SV JHS bungs were the ones to go for, unfortunately no longer made and Motosliders are the the top on the list. Problem with these type is that you have to cut a hole in the fairing, not noticeable when the bung is on if done correctly.

I'm having plenty of fun on it So you feeling confident for your test?

Hi monty81
Feeling confident? Well to be honest not really!

I've only had 6 hours on a big bike so far. I did my CBT on a 125. I've got a five hour lesson on a er5 next Tuesday and then it's the big day on Wednesday! Oh, i'd never ridden a Motorbike beforehand! The instructor seems to think I can do it so he must know, doesn't he . I'll give it my best go but i'll be gutted if I fail. Just can't wait to go out and get bike!

Pleased your enjoying the SV.

Alright Bunks,

Same here mate, i never touched a bike before doing my CBT! You'll be fine, just try to think of it as another lesson(easier said than done). If you can handle the bike on the slow control you'll be fine. so this time next Wednesday you'll be
