1) first rideout with the ecosse posse and the comforting words from Grant at Strathearn Tyres (then the dishearting ones which may never be forgotten) and the meringues at Aberfeldy.

2) Glencoe Massacre 08 nothing else needs to be said

3) all the friendships that have been made in the last 3 years

4) and cos i said i would - meeting the .org comic in person

The 'band-of-brothers' esque, glorious two-fingered salute to the Great British Weather that was last month's Rideout of the Stuartyboy.

Riding over the Scottish Mountains, through some of the worst weather conditions I've seen, let alone been out in, gale force winds, rain like standing in front of a fire hose, sleet etc....

Watching the 2 bikes in front riding at 45 degree leans, just to go in a straight line, following suit, then watching the 4 behind in my mirrors doing exactly the same thing, put a grin on my face like had never been there before!

I can't narrow this down to just one

The AR08 rideout. The incredible feeling of pride to be a part of that, tinged with sadness as that weekend proved to be the final outing of my beloved SV.

The Glencoe Massacre, diesel incident and all.

Hardy Bikers, and the amazing ride in the dark.

All of the NW weekends.

Seeing new riders growing in confidence the more rideouts they attend.

The banter, p*s-taking and great humour that is there at every event.

1 - AR06. My first time on a mass ride out and it was amazing.

2 - AR08

3 - Glencoe Massacre

2 and 3 contributed hugely to my best biking year ever (those two events and Kwak and Shells drunkenness at Oulton Park BSB )

Top place the org

oh and number 4, meeting the Quiffster!

All my best .org moments can be put under the heading of 'WELCOME'

From my first, difficult post (see BigApe's post about his off) when Greg immediately extended the hand of friendship, to the first AR I went to on my own, to each time I turn up at Soho, to the amazing cold can of lager and puck at last year's AR and every time someone new to the site introduces themselves. And loads more...

The .org is a very welcoming community to be a part of.
