get some damaged plastics off a 'streetfightered' bike
tape them to your push bike, stick one of those kids things on your bike which makes an engine sound (or do it yourself).

Maybe if you spot these spastics then you could anonymously report their reg plate for driving like a muppet or picking up jailbait or something lol

Follow them home to get their own reg plate (or just see their car parked up next to where they are doing it) get a cloned plate made up to match it, stick it on your bike then speed past a different civilian speedtrap.

Just so we are clear, these people only record the details of the vehicles they think exceed the limit using the low tech equipment they have access to. They pass those details on to the council who write the letter.
Then, if there is percieved to be a problem with excess speed, the local Cops will come along with the Home Office approved kit and do some enforcement.

Or, do what they do with that Michael Collins guy (Not exactly, but set up something to catch a particular person) I guess if the speed was great enough, or you were a repeat offender.

Thanks for the clarity there Blue - that makes a lot of sense. So practically there's no difference between these guys and me twitching my net curtains, using my low tech uncalibrated eyeballs to figure that the boy racer going up and down the road is going closer to 50mph than 30mph and reporting that?

Except..... under this scheme I could get MY VERY OWN lollypop lady jacket and get to point a gun at people, generally be feared and respected by all; feel the POWAH and RESHPECT MAH AUTHORITAH!
