Meh. I know how you feel...
I went to bed at 2 and my mind wouldn't shut up for ages, finally drifted off for an hour but woke up again. Brain went into overdrive so I just got up again at 5ish. It's either this or I wake up every hour until about 6 or 7am. I'd put my money on the excercise theory... |

Exercise before bed actually keeps you awake, with the exception of sex. That makes you sleep better for some reason so the answer to the problem is obvious.

Kate I've been unfortunate enough to have suffered and sometimes still experience periods of no peacefull sleep.
I used to take prescribed drugs that would knock out an elephant just to sleep for 8hrs!! These helped but personally what I found that helped was figuring out the reasons of my worries that kept me awake. I know it sounds cliche but are you in peace with yourself? What is bothering you? Have you thought about therapy? All these could be of help. I've spent quite sometime on therapy and it has helped me. I'm happy to share my experience if you think it would be of help to you. Hope you get it sorted ![]() |
