its a protest which is legal - so the police should facilitate it not prevent it. they should ensure it goes ahead with no hickups, not attack people.

Do you really think that woman's behaviour was anything other than inciting a riot?

I was horrified by the man being attacked for NO reason, but I'm sorry, the police are screwed every way from Sunday if they don't stop that woman's type of behaviour before the whole crowd goes nuts.

yes i see that, but the riot was clearly not happening then was it. and even if it was, a riot or protest just isnt the same as knife crime

no its not but police officers were getting hurt as well. There wasnt just one place this was happening, there was different area's and they needed to prevent this from happening. this could have been going on at the same time as the incedent happened

you cant react the same way to linked situations at different locations, thats just daft. and just becasue one group of protesters turn intoa riot, dosent meen that all of the separate groups will.
