Well, police have contacted me. I need to go to the local station at 3.00pm as they want their crime scene people to take photos of my face. I have been to the club for a brew, the manager has told me that on the second attack which she witnessed. I was hit in the face 5 times and went down. He then turned to my mate Neil and said you can have some too and smashed him across the room knocking him cold.

As I tried to get up he returned to put 4 more on me.

When the police arrested him, he denied having done anything, but was double cuffed. He was let out this morning and returned to the club at 10.00 to collect his jacket. It turns out he is a taxi driver, he has been reported to the licensing office and he and his son are to be added to the local pubwatch scheme at their monthly meeting tomorrow.

He is rumoured to have intimidated witnesses in the past. I have no problem pursuing this through the system. However, I was informed that my brother burst into the club last night looking for him and had to be kicked out quick as the police were still there taking statements. I want no feuds. He has a big family and knows faces and my family is the same, word has already got round to some very handy people in case it kicks off again. There is no need, I have faith in the system.

The manager is happy, nothing is down to me or Neil. The cleaner not so happy as I left blood all over

Good on you for the way you've handled it so far too mate, last thing you want is a some kind of tit-for-tat feud kicking off and lasting forever - hopefully he'll go down for it!

Why shouldn't I?

The manager and her husband are personal friends, it was outside of opening hours.

Most people including plod don't even know the place exists. It is only the second time in 3 years that the police have had to be called and that was for someone who refused to leave at the end of a function.

It is a quiet place although this non work safe vid was filmed there on late night/early morning so we do know how to enjoy ourselves
