so how do they do a service in 2 hours of you dropping the bike off?

answers on a postcard...

edit: just ask me bro who used to be a bike mechanic for a well known stealer in edin...

answer: they do the minor service first then let the bike cool down to as much room temp as possible then check clearances... then fire bike up and do top ups...

By ignoring the Suzuki recommendations The service manual specifies and stresses that it's to be done COLD several times (their caps), not coldish. One of the seperate manuals- can't recall if it's the Clymer or Haynes- recommends a 12 hour cool down time, and the service bulletin for the cam tensioner swap for the curvies also said overnight.

Like I say, I don't know whether it matters, just passing on the official word. Dealers do lots of things which aren't neccesarily right, but then at the same time Suzuki recommend lots of things that aren't neccesary.
