Not too fussed - I often proclaim I'm gorgeous although I know I ain't.

My boy is 3 on Thurs & I hit the big 30 last year so I should really get my ass in gear & try to loose some of tummy.

It's not like I don't do any exercise (sprained my ankle bad Fri 13th Nov 09 playing 5 a side) but I know my problem is 'doing' massive portions & too many beers

If only they did'nt taste soooooooooo good.

Yeah yeah yeah... he just can't help getting his kit off in front of ladies.

I'm not particularly body-conscious - I spend many many hours of my working week being confronted by naked bodies (or parts of naked bodies) of all shapes and sizes , so I think I've become a bit immune to it. But that's not to say that I don't respect other people's privacy and dignity - it's more that I'm pretty immune to appearances, if you know what I mean.

I'm sure it's the case that most of the time, on an average day, the only person worried about your appearance is yourself.

For me personally, I'm pretty comfortable with myself, but I no doubt have the same little hang-ups as the average laydee - less so as the years go by I think!

Mind you, it doesn't help when your friend keeps joking about your pale skin having the quality of a 100 watt bulb. It's enough to give anyone a complex...

Depends on the alcohol consumption. I have occasionally succumbed to streaking when smashed.

Generally though, I tend to stay clothed around strangers.

I try really hard not to care about my appearance too much, No one is ever perfect and having been in a relationship with a girl who suffered with an eating disorder, I know that I was pretty lucky.

The sad thing though is that I am here now and I can list all of the bits of my body I hate. I wont bore you with the details, but I feel ugly, fat and unattractive and even the kind words from my partner, can't take that feeling away.

A few years ago, I was fit, athletic and thin. I could ride my mountain bike for miles, climb at E2 and thought little of backpacking around Europe. Then I got old, I got Ill and corrective surgery left even more damage.

I miss the indestructible me, the fit me, the fast me and the young me. It is not just body image, it is mental image and if that is poor, the body image is poor too.

Interesting thread though.

Right, where did I leave the rope...

Nah not really I just have err quite a bit of hair, and I have put weight on so a little bit fat. That I don't like...

After swiming, sailing diving ect makes no difference.

I try not to be,but, I've got varicose veins(which hurt like hell and swollen from the cold today), scars from having varicose veins removed as a teen and I get very conscious in summer about flashing my legs....but I suppose if anyone did see me flashing them they'd be blinded anyway from milk white legs!!

I don't like the christmas blubber I've put on, I find it repulsive, its on me and and it wasn't there before! Coupled with a good flaring of eczema all over.....I look like a leper. SO yeah, I'm dead sexy lookin me, think I might run down the street in a bikini
