Personally i wouldn't take the risk of damaging the SV ...... but if you're prepared to go slow enough, and prepared to drop the bike, then crack on !!

Nutter. but have done the same in my youth... as back then my Suzuki TS100 was my only form of transport.

Only form of transport for me is the SV (Well, or the CBR, but no way that's going out in this...). I set off for work yesterday...then stopped when I got 1/4 mile down the road when my phone was ringing. Work closed. Same today. Getting paid for it. Bonus!

Il upload some pics later! Its snowing quite heavily again now! I work out in Roborough so it gets worse the closer the the moors you get!

After it taking almost 20 mins and 2 strapping young men to help me get off my driveway and out of the road I drove to work to be sent home again as we`re only doing priority 1 house calls and those will be based within a small radius of where I live.

I`m sure whatever the reason he was riding it must`ve been a good one and thats probs his only method of transport

Only came off once this winter snow far

Roads are basically clear now, but car parks and side roads are ice rinks..

Up here we seem to be getting off lightly compared to you Southeners

Learnt my lesson about snow and ice riding last year, so gonna be active and just walk till it all goes, beats sitting in A&E for 5 hours.
