Scott, pull on some trackies under your leather trousers and shove a fleece over your jacket.

Did brief ride Sunday, hadn't forgotten how to ride from the week before

Did want to ride tomorrow but I saw the grit wagon out so that puts the tin lid on it.

TBH sometimes I HATE riding in winter, but I have no choice (no public transport doesn't count!). there are good days, but hammering down the motorway in freezing fog or rain is not fun, no matter how much you like riding. I always end up taking the boring route due to the road conditions and visibility, plus most of the time you are riding in the dark if you commute. by the time it comes to the weekend, I'm not really up for riding the bike other than when I have to go somewhere.

i think tis good to have a ride at least once a week, even if its just a 20 minute poodle to the shops to get some milk and back again. It keeps you in check with things - like you said kwak, things like throttle response and also sharpness of brakes etc

Mine was laid up since Nov. But tht's mostly with having other comitments.

Jumped back on yesterday to come to work and was awsome, a lot of it has to do with how well you get on with the bike I guess.

Could never do it with the SV but no probs with the triple.

I haven't been near my bike since October, until last week, when I discovered the alarm had taken out the battery.

Alarm ripped out now. Battery charged, fired on first push of the button.

bike still not been out the garage though.

This is the first year I have not ridden through a winter in about 15 years. I haven't ridden a motorcycle since June last year. I am a believe riding in adverse conditions simply helps you to hone your motorcycle riding skills. Also you don't get the 'loss of feel' from not riding.

Finally found time to code the spare key for my VFR and fit a luggage rack. Unfortunately, the battery was pretty much flat after a couple of months standing. So I charged it up and rode it to work today.

It feels a little strange after riding the SV through all the salt and crap but it's still nice to have that VTEC kick in part way through an overtake. Vrrrrr...RRRRRR....

I find the bike always seems bloody quick.

I've not riden since August, longest time I've not ridden in ~10 years but breaking a collarbone followed by moving house (well when I actually manage it) and a very crap winter means I haven't had a chance.
