£3000 very cheap? Does not compute.

Also pillion capacity isn't exactly goldwing-esque on a WSB wanabe missile!

Some folk prefer to pay more than 100 quid for a bike

No is it b*ll*cks.

Buying from dodgy daz you buying from a dealer where it is supposed to leave the place in good condition.

Buying it from RS you buying "sold as seen" as it says on the reciept, they sell insurance write offs. They are as you see them, if you don't like the look of whatever damage they've got then don't buy it! Prices are a little high for what they are... but that is their prerogative.

Just for once, ignore Chris, Andy.

Steer clear of the place.

lol

Maria, lets just say he was lucky. I'll talk to you both when I next see you. TBH Chris was very lucky with his bike, I still wouldn't recommend that place to someone I call a friend.

They do have pretty big seats. I cant imagine pillion will be any worse (an probably better) than a CBR...

ok guys back now so can say a little more.

The cat d bikes are cheap but i dont think i could have one. i know there are worse condition bikes out there that are not catd but its just me.

I would love a speed triple. however im tiny and the bike is HUUUGE compared to me i dont see how i could swing it round in the back yard every morning. However i would love one.

hmm its a toughie this one.

Prob worth taking someone who knows what they're looking at if you go that route. (Not implying OP doesn't though)

Test rode one on sat. The seat is high but I found it quite small overall - short, compact, and with the handlebars, it's easier to haul around than my faired SV, even though it's heavier. I haven't compared the figures but it felt like it had a really short wheelbase.

Utterly barmy to ride
