i think its fine as long as both parties know what there getting involved in. i've had 2 of these types of 'friends' one of which kept thinking if she slept with me it would eventually turn into a relationship. that never worked out.

where as the other one was a perfect situation. we were friends, so she would sometimes come round, watch tv or a film have a few drinks, then we both go home happy! which suited us both as we knew we didnt need to do the whole couple type thing during the week or anything like that.
