Hi guys,
Thanks for all your replies and advice. Tried the R1 yesterday. Hated it ![]() ![]() Got another question for you. ![]() Had a shot of a 954 Blade 2002 model, 10k miles. Loved it ![]() Can anyone imagine why this would be? Dealer hasn't a clue. I'm thinking replacement panel after spill. Or am i thinking the worse? Are these just stickers that are missing? Maybe pressure washer miss hap? I love the bike, rides great. But this has put me off a bit. One i'm interested in: media.jpg What it should look like: proper.jpg Sorry if i'm becoming a pain in the ass..... ![]() |

could be that they didn't like the graphics..
My mate Si bought new fairings for his 04 blade the week he bought it as it had grey lowers and he wanted them black. Or it could be that its been dropped. You never know unless you know the previous owner. |

Unless the bike is imaculate, and has all previous MOT's to prove it's mileage, I'd hesitate too in giving away a perfectly good 58 plate 650 for an R1 of '98 vintage.
I had an R1 which I bought cheap (was needing work and a bloody good TLC session), and I sold it on for a tidy profit ![]() ![]() If I had space at my home, and money, I'd buy a couple of standard ultra low mileage fireblades and r1's of nineties era up to 2001 ages, and mothball them for years.. I'd get back double my money on each bike no problems in the future... as there wouldn't be any tidy low mileage standard ones left in 20 years time.. plus they'd be considered all time classics.. Plus I'd love to have a standard red Duke 916 in my lounge. Those things are gorgeous, and immaculate ones only appreciate in value.. Last edited by jimmy4237; 19-04-10 at 09:55 PM. |
