Uh oh, what have I done wrong now? Its going to turn out to be a comedy size engine right? 1200cc or something. Hmm, sorry I just assumed someone who wants to go for a slow bimble would have a small(ish) bike.

Hey, I make no secret of the fact I'm a noob and know bugger all about bikes*... just look at my username!

*therefore don't take anything I say seriously

LOL, I know nothing about bikes either but my Raptor is 1000cc. I want to go for a slow bimble as I have only done 2000 miles since getting the bike 4 years ago - chain snapping, inability to get parts, inability to get someone to come to house to fix it, pregnancy.

I understand now - I would want to take it easy on a 1000cc if I had been riding off and on over a 4 year period. My puny 33bhp 650cc is more than enough for me at the moment and I ride every day. Get your beast up and running and we can go find some nice roads to play on

This Saturday is now no good for me, so I'll have to pass.

I will be out and about Boxhill way on Sunday with my OH and lunatic brother if anyone is not working and wants to meet up.
