Correct.

Mileage (Odometer reading) divided by how many litres to refill, multiplied by 4.54 (litres to a gallon) = MPG

Used to get 170-180 consistently. Sometimes 200. Wouldn't say that was taking it easy either, but there were a few motorway miles in there.

woohoo looks like I might have made a slight miscalculation, filled my bike up in newcastle and rode @150 miles before the light started flashing added about a £10 to tank around 10-15 miles later...

Never had less than 55 mpg. Usually at more than 150 miles to the light and often done 200 miles on a tank (usually very worried about finding a petrol station at that point though).

Just done 163 miles and managed to squeeze £13.50's worth of fuel into the tank. That was after a fairly er... spirited ride around Llandrindod, Rhaeadr and Newtown way!
