Not sure when the date of this thread was posted, so might be completely irrelevant!!

I've had a G2 zx6-r from the moment (well a month after) i passed my full test, had it through restrictors and out the otherside.

It is a fairly big bike to have, but with a bit of confidence and someone to show you how to ride it (something i lacked) it can be a fantastic bike, on or off restrictors.

On restrictors itll still be faster than the "chav" cars you see going round rugby, and once you get rid of them it truly is quick.

Ive had it for 3 years all year riding, and if you know someone that can show you things like brake piston overhauls etc the bike is very cheap to run!

I recently visited rugby, and im gutted a lot of the "fun" roads have been covered in traffic furniture!! theres still the fosse i suppose!!

posted it quite a while back, since got my bike on the road again (at much expense)

yes most of the rugby roads have been ruined

get the sv1000s, bout as fast as a zx6 but got more torque.... thatll give you something to keep after the restrictions....
