If it is the latter, I will arrange to leave your stuff with someone who will be there all day.

I am going to Portugal for a lads week away the following Friday, so don't want to spend two nights away from home that weekend. I will be sticking to the speed limits all the way down though, as I am taking my XT600 which is geared for off road use and 70mph is about top speed. |

Just to let you know, for all intending to do the rideout, it is a 9:30 briefing, followed by leaving at 10am sharp. However, if people do arrive late, its not a problem, they can join us at a later point. Details of which will be available on arrival.
In terms of mileage to get there, from Halesowen it is 64 miles going via Kiddy / Bewdly / Tenbury / Leominster. This is the fun route. If you were going to use Mway, then it is a similar time, but less fun. Get off at junction 7 of M5 at Worcester, follow signs to Hereford, then on to Clyro. The Mway route is 75miles from our house.

For you, I would do the exact route you have put. It would be the quickest way.

I have done Solihull to Bath in 75/80 minutes before, but I am capable of keeping to the limits - so not to worry. Nice warm up for a long day of biking! Getting a little excited now! |

OK, I wouldn't worry about the briefing personally, I've done more forum rideouts than I can count and ridden to all the different systems, but I'm guessing you're a rideout newbie and would want to be there for 9:30? In this case I suggest we leave 7am? Meet you at the Total petrol station at the roundabout where Box Trees Road meets the A34 at Hockley Heath?

Well I don't mind myself, but if it's recommended I be there for it then I suppose that's best.
I havn't yet had confirmation of sharing a tent. Otherwise, it's a date! Thanks. |
