Looking further into it, I believe this part also actuates the fast idle function so your 2 issues are possibly connected.

You mean swap your new injectors onto old TBs with working SDTV?

download a service manual, look at how to diagnose issues with the SDVT, just swapping things out is stupid

You make me laugh there is no written way of repairing that part other than hitting it to maybe free the motor.
I know my old throttle bodies were good other than the injectors. What is your problem with me doing that? I bought an untested set off ebay so dont know the issues with it but between the two sets i know whats good and make a complete set. Maybe you enjoy making your life difficult but if its broken and even the book says dont remove it then ill happily change it with the spare i already have. That will avoid any issue with having to calibrate secondary TPS.

The thing is i changed both sensors over as the codes were different. Ive got the suzuki service from a friend and it lists how to set it. Ill write it up when i do it.

Right to set the sdtv unplug the stv put a probe into the yellow and the black wires for the sdtv with the ignition on.
With the stv turned fully open the sdtv should read 4.38v or above. My one wouldnt open fully. The servo had skipped a tooth or worse stripped then locked up. So my k3 throttle bodies are on for now until i can strip the pair down and put the good injectors in. Ive not done it tonight due to 2 stripped heads. |
