Dont let the trailer and Ricky Gervais laughing at some poor unfortunate put you off...i made that mistake but watched it by accident and almost PMSL....his reactions to the Chinese, and the Chinese themselves were histerical....

course KP's a comedy genius, dont be fooled by the other two telling you hes an idiot, hes not , hes just v funny...

China was brilliant, India was a bit slow going.

I nearly choked watching the trailer for whichever country he is in when he was throwing those little darts and one went in the camera mans neck.

Ricky Gervais isn't in the actual show. Forgot the first 30 seconds of the video though once you get past the ricky thing it's awesome!!

Karl Pilkington is clearly the comic genius behind this show not ricky gervais.

i've clearly missed the joke of the show. i watched 15 minutes of the India episode last night and didnt get it, i just saw a moaning bald bloke "out of his comfort level" as i kept getting told.

i like some of the stuff gervais has done, office and extras were genius imho (of course its imho, im the one typing this!) but i'd say there is an element of emporers new clothes to him. ive seen this pilkington bloke before, listened to lots of their podcasts and shows from XFM and he can say some amusing things, but i really dislike the "englishman abroad complaining" character

I actually agree with what pilkington says, its just very amusing hearing someone say it, i assumed most were thinking it too, i wouldnt visit most of india even if it was free! All travel shows are the same 'look how nice it is' ********!

Or is it just me
