tbh i dont think we can, and i wouldnt even know where to start. education only goes so far, and unfortunately its not till something like this happens to someone close to you do most people take stock

Good man Dave. I feel your pain, and send you heartfelt sympathy, but there is more than one life involved here.

It takes a very big person to forgive, with a big and noble heart.

Good wishes to all of you affected xx

i'm shocked to hear such news. my thoughts go out to your friends family and all that know her. i hope that she makes a full and speedy recovery.

speeding it city/town/villages is a no no in my book, but there is nothing that anyone can do apart from starting to frown upon people who do it.

Tragedy. GWS to your friend Dave, such that the biker may RIP. Think about the ones that love you when driving or riding folks. In a perfect world widows and orphans wouldn't be made under such circumstances.

I don't think I can remember the girl you refer to (that's your fault Dave) but hope she pulls through.

Everybody has had a bit of high jinx and stupidity occasionally, fact of life that some time it goes wrong. No way you could stop it all without being a completely mental government that bans everything, they're trying to eradicate bikes and bikers anyway so lets not help them out eh.

@DP - Props to ya mate, glad you could get over the anger and hurt to see the bigger picture. Guy has made a mistake and paid for it with his life, as you say we all have scrapes and get away with them to learn lessons, this sounds like it's all his fault and he's not had the opportunity to realise how wrong he was to do what he did.

TBH Dave after reading that i aint got much sympathy, feel for his family though, but your friends family have still got a daugther in limbo.
I really hope she makes a full speedy recovery.
Making a mistake is one thing, making a mistake on a stolen bike is another.
