To be honest, I don't know what the quality of the Tamron is like so I wouldn't rule it out, maybe find someone that sells it and see if you can have a demo of the Tamron and Nikon lenses using your body and then get the pics home and onto your laptop to see the results....don't forget the Sigma range of lenses too

yep. thats what i'm doing, perhaps my flickr account is blocking the images or something

ok, finally figured it!

here's a few taken in Brecon during the first lot of snow we had a few weeks ago with a friend and his family, was supposed to go up there again today but my mate couldn't make it so will try and go next week if the snow is still down
