I was with Aquote until last year when they say they are no longer able to offer me the issuer I previously had with them (Aviva) and offered somebody else at an increase despite one more years NCB.

So shopped around, and Carole Nash ended up cheaper and included commuting cover which I did not have with Aquote.

Although initial quote start off cheap. Mine being £90, it adds up once you then add full roadside recovery, protected no claims, leather/lid etc. sudeenly the 90 quid becomes 170.

Well my sprint and DRZ are both due for renewal beginning of march, so I'm gonna rant about fecking robbing insurance companies.

Here I go,
I've got the DRZ on a separate policy, TPFT, as the currupt bas**rds won't let you use your ncb on another bike I took this policy out last year with 0ncb, £120 with mce insurance, renewal? £140 with 1 years ncb !!!!

My sprints renewal from swinton with 2 years ncb, they want £480, yes, £480 !!
I went on go compare, I can get it for £340, the icing on the cake is on the list of quotes, swinton come up about 8th down the list at £415, so they can offer £65 difference just like that cos they think i won't notice, it's fair to say they can 0121 do one.
I even rang them on Friday to have a go but their network was down and the woman said she would call me back, she never did.

Would it be more cost effective to combine the two bikes or leave them separate ?

Specialone, tell them you have seen the cheaper quote on the comparison site, they'll probably honour it, however still not the cheapest though.
I had the same for the car last year, renewel up, same policy on go compare about 60 quid cheaper, phoned them up to complain and they honoured the web price. The other daft thing was the insurance was cheaper putting the missus on even though she only has a provisional!
