Nothing wrong with it as such, just want something with a little more go and that will cruise at a higher speed with more in reserve

Too tall, not reliable enough for my liking, too expensive for what they are, no main dealer within 30 miles of me, servicing costs, parts costs, insurance costs etc etc. Added to that, I just don't like any of them

Heathen!

I'm a KTM fan but do admit they can be an aquired taste though.

The reliability issues have pretty much been sorted and if you look closely, you get loads of little extras that the others in the same class dont get.

Yes they cost more, but you get more too.

I'm guessing your nearest dealer would be didcot or market deeping.

the only known engine issues with the sv thou (dont know if its the same with the strom) was power fluctuations at cruising speeds 70-80 in 5th or 6th but its a easy fix, and "the knock" to do with the clutch plates ,it sounds wierd but does no harm

i suspect the first issue wouldnt be the same as the strom as it occures because of the tune (getting it under regs)

hth mate

They do hiccup and shudder all over the place until you get the fuelling set up. then they are great.
