Just got a quote on my two SV's both with Carole Nash - £456 with 2 years no claims.
3 other claims, 2 fault , 1 non fault , and a SP30 conviction.
Not garaged either so I am happy with that.

When I first got a second bike, I just called Carol Nash and they sorted it out so I was covered. Piff paff poof, it was done, and IIRC wasn't too much difference to swap from single to multi either. Neither did I lose any no claims.

The Raptor is a really stupid insurance group(13 I THINK), and I did have to haggle magnificently when I added that on to the other two, as they wanted 600 quid for all three. I got it to 350 in the end, thats Fully Comp too.

When I renewed in April, I thought I'd have to jump through hoops, as insurance has been going up so much.
Both bikes( only one SV now) are now classed as classic for CN, being over ten years old, and I got them at £217FC, 120 excess

Dunno if times have changed since this thread was opened but I've been having nightmare getting multi bike quotes.

With 4 years no claims the VFR is about £230 to insure and the GSXR about £200 however on a multi bike most quotes are ranging from £700 to £2000+

Best one I have had so far is MCE which was £500 including lots of extras but I have been warned off them in the past, have they got any better?

Mate I use Mce, never had any issues, always given me good price too

At 21 my sv is only 500 quid and I got a zero excess and helmet/leathers cover, breakdown, pillion, riding other bikes Etc for that too...

Plus they always been understanding of my keeping the bike at lots of different raf bases without bumping up my policy

Len, I don't bother with them anymore, always work out more expensive for me, last year I split my sprint and drz and saved around £150-£200

I used the NCB on my sprint and the drz with none, I'll be doing the same this year too, they actually run out first week in march, better get looking soon.

I'm glad someone dragged this out of the dead. I had almost convinced myself to pay extra for MCE insurance because I didn't like the look of Ebike insurance's website (I work in the industry so it doesn't take much to put me off!) and a quick google showed some nasty reviews. I will just go with the lowest bidder since they are probably no better than each other.

Problem with that is, quotes on the GSXR with no no claims are coming in at £600
