I think you need to invite Bear over and let him drink a bottle of gin just before they call round. Then get him to open the door and ask them why they wish to speak to his fiancée. (Please ensure you explain to Jamie first that this is not for real, or you could find yourself with a new son in law).

Ask them if they like the new patio. Then ask them where obnoxious boyfriends end up.

They are probably nice lads being normal.

Tell them she might be interested if they get a bath and wear "nice" clothes. Bet they run a mile at the thought.

See this is exactly why I don't like girls. Boys are far easier to deal with when they grow up!

I'm pretty sure my parents had the same when I was her age. My dads a bit barmy when he wants to, always invited them in, and embarrassed the lot of us!

Oi Dizzy, that's a dads job.

You have to realise, we remember what was on our minds when we were their age.

Just sit on the porch, and polish a gun.

Or you could polish something else, that would keep them away.

It's all down to your daughter, in my opinion matey. She needs to give them the brush off. If she's giving them the time of day they'll keep at it. They don't give a monkeys what you say or do, and even if you act like a total bruiser, they'll keep at it.

When I was a nipper, until a girl literally said she wasn't interested, I couldn't even read the signals. If she yawned, she was just tired. If she was ignoring me she was just being shy and was secretly gagging for it. If she tried to make it obvious by talking about another guy, he was just a good friend.

Teenagers are thick.
