Just replying so I can keep an eye on this. Do you think you need suspension and off road tyres for this? I've got a hybrid you see.

Absolutely @ off road tyres Andy, on my ride today I had to cross some boggy mud on my slick road tyres (armadillos, can't remember what brand right now) & nearly ended up on my face. Mine's a hard tail & even then at one point on one of the fire roads my handle bars were vibrating so much I almost had to stop..

I was perfectly fine on my hardtail with crap forks, well as perfectly fine as an unskilled fat fecker can be! Stick some knobblies on, be reet! I've got some spare ones if you want to borrow them.

The only problem is that without some form of suspension, the front headtube / headset will take a battering.....if it was me, i would borrow a bike or hire one for the day.....but your call.

Please sir,
I can bring a note from my doctor.

He says I am fat!

At least He is not the wife's doctor who says she is a beast.

I ask you. seven years of our taxes for medical college to tell me what I already know!!!

Look guys I have been out since it got dark in the morning.
I got all the exercise gear in the garage and no inclination. why the feck should I want to ride a bike in the cold and wet middle of nowhere
