Thanks you fizzwheel, we also have friends in Sligo and have visited the area before. We have already arranged to spend a day or two in Sligo as we know how beautiful it is.

i would suggest getting a set of baffles for your exhaust. must be deafening on your ride back to uni!

after sitting behind you, it get very droning after a while! cant imagine sitting on top of it for a long period of time. She got proper kit aswell? jeans wont cut it!

In that case get some good waterproof's and always keep them at hand at all times Ireland is rather wet a great deal of the time.

I can defo second, around the Antrim coast its stunning we did it last year and then headed out to the Hostel at Malin Beg in Donegal, we sat in front of a roaring fire sipping some of Bushmills finest ( feels like the end of the known world when its all foggy ), then into Connemara. To save you looking silly some petrol stations in Londonderry require payment before filling up.

Enjoy the trip its a beautiful part of the World.
