Aye, was good, and ftr I thought I'd do a sly bringing back to everyone's attention. But as that didn't work. Here's when it happened Granty; http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...ht=Lamborghini

However, at motorway speeds an SV is comparable to a sporty turbodiesel. A ditsy colleague's Boxter S had the better of me from about 60 onwards, much to my dismay.

I too can contest that I once found myself struggling to pull away from a megane sport on my sv! Off the lights though, not much keeps up.
If motorway roll on top trumps bothers you, get a zx14 or something! |

Get a litre plus sports /sports tourer, not many cars will come even close, only hyper cars will be in the same league.
My sprint was super smooth, power band was nice and didn't drop off until doing really silly speeds, 140 plus. I found the SV fine up to about 100 if the gearing was used correctly, but it did run out of puff a bit then. |
