Nice looking rear seats, I hate to think how much original VW seats cost

Ah nice one. It seemed to reset itself and so far has been working ok so I think it's just found it's position by itself.

That rear triple bench is in the region of £3k brand new from VW.
The rails alone are about £1400 new from VW.

Bloody hell! That's more than my van and 2 cars and the Raptor cost altogether!

Just a quick update.

Interior is still taking the priority. I'm getting the carpeting finished next Monday. In the meantime I've installed Remote Control RGB LED strip lights around the edge of the roof in the rear: here's some pics of that.

I'm in the process of getting these lights to come on when you open the doors but for now they are controlled via the remote control.
I used this shroud for the switch which I thought was pretty sweet.

I also installed some Red LED strips in the foot wells which come on when the headlights come on.

I've replaced the headlight bulbs and side light bulbs for more whiter ones. Here's just the sidelights, these are LEDs I got from eBay:

I installed a new gear knob courtesy of t5 forums, great bit of kit and took minutes to fit:

Still to come is the carpeting and fitting the altro flooring I got from the t5 forum

Cheers for looking. Any comments welcome.

Na, that's for the dog. I just chuck him in the space next to it.

Bit of an update.

Carpeting now all done and Altro Floor has been layed...badly...by me. It's ok but not perfect.

Pioneer x3500dab stereo fitted with all the wiring completed to accept reverse camera when I get round to it.
And my Grey Suede Gear Gaitor.

Also fitted a USB and 3.5mm Socket into the glovebox. Complete with VW Splitty USB Stick holding my music and videos.

Cruise Control now fitted and working.

Next on the list:
Service.

Remap

Leather Steering Wheel.

Homemade multiflex (bed extension)

Reverse Camera

Upgrade speakers and sound deaden doors and add rear speakers

Rear TV on roof mounted drop down bracket

Was thinking about adding more LED lights to the middle of the roof as the LED's on the edge are more for ambience that functionality.

Single Passenger Seat

Split Charge System and Leisure Battery

It never seems to end.

So after doing all the above over the Christmas Period I was settling into the thought that I wouldn't be able to do much else what with the tax due, service due and an income tax bill due. However I was looking at one of my saved searches on ebay and something appeared that was just too good to pass up. Bought it there and then had it picked up on yesterday and it arrived at 9.30am today. Almost that the exact right moment that I was ready for it aswell!!

Single Captains Passenger Seat:

Whilst it isn't the same fabric I plan to get a nice set of covers as I can't afford to retrim.
The seat came with the base and I managed to get it for £200.
Used paisley freight to ship it costing £21.50 on a next day delivery...was very impressed.

So chuffed with this as it lets me and the wife walk through to the back where our wee boy is.
