My R&G DIY ones arrived Friday. Really easy to make, seem to fit really well.
Very effective in the house! Haven't been out on the bike yet though, so will update once I do.

The left one seemed to go farther into my ear than the right. Not sure if that's just the shape of my ear, or I pushed the putty in too far while making. I trimmed it down with sissers. Still fits fine, still fills my ears. Just doesn't go in as far now.

Default Ear plugs

I just shoved them in as balls, they seemed to make a good shape.

I've been meaning to update this...

I've done about 60 or 70 miles with them now doing a few shortish trips, and I'm very impressed.

They fit really well, are comfortable to the point I forgot I was wearing them, and they do a great job of keeping back the wind noise. They did take a bit of getting used to, mainly because it feels like your ears fill the helmet more! But it was only for the first few minutes and I guess that's to be expected.

I do have to watch my speed more now though. I'm used to changing gear and knowing roughly how fast I'm going by the noise of the engine, but as its quieter im leaving it longer to change up.

Overall I would definitely recommend the R&G diy ones. They're a good price, effective, and most importantly they're comfortable so I don't mind wearing them.

Default Ear plugs

It has been known that people have put their earphones inside during moulding.
