Just checked the parts catalogue section of the manual and you are correct. Cheers fella. I'll get it changed this morning.

If this works see Darrens post (click me) number 7. If it worked fine before then just ignore my 'mechtard' advice

Spent around 8 hours in total today fettling the SV. After swapping round the clutch actuator spring retainer.

Fitted the clutch cover / water pump housing with a fresh gasket, filled it with fresh Silkolene Comp4 lifeblood a new filter then topped up the water system with some antifreeze and ran it up to temp after fixing the clutch switch which was strangely holding me out as it was ok when I stripped it all down!. There were no leaks which is a good sign.

Took off the front wheel to change the tyre and to tidy up the front end. I started cleaning up the aftermarket wavy discs and found all the bobbins seized so off with the discs and dug out my DeWalt impact driver with a 6mm driver bit. I found an 8mm cap head bolt with its nut and bolted through each of the disc bobbins and flooded them with brake cleaner initially then ACF-50 to provide the lube and spun all bobbins until they were free.
Cleaned the wheel (which doesn't look as good as the pics suggest) then fitted the tyre and balanced it, then refitted the discs after polishing up the disc bolts with Solvol and a polishing mop.

I then refitted the wheel and concentrated on the calipers which were full of white crust and there were signs of the small rubber calipers seals showing, so off they came.
I popped out the pistons, cleaned them up on the wire wheel then started cleaning the seal tracks in the calipers. I did manage to reuse the rubber seals with red rubber grease but fear this may be a short term fix so may purchase some new ones. Although after reassembly with new EBC pads supplied with the bike and bleeding them they are holding pressure.

Finished!

I am just awaiting my side stand (can't be bothered repairing mine) and I got a new front sprocket delivered today if I can be ar53d fitting it.

Cleaned my headers today with Harpic Max, spray it on and it fizzes up, agitate it with a scotch pad then do the old strip of tshirt twice around the pipe with a bit of Solvol and pull the rag back and fore.
I still have the new sidestand and front sprocket to fit but for now it's on the road.

Before,

After,

During the Solvol treatment,

After.

Couldn't be happier with the outcome, still a few areas could do with a brush up but overall very pleased.

Do you get away with a 7x5 plate? Does look better that a standard 9x7

They're not that keen where I'm living so it can stay until I get a producer. I ordered a 7x5.5 I think? Half inch can make a big difference so I'm told!

did the same to mine but without the black line around it as it makes it look cramped and harder to read.
