I've heard that some people put a spoonful into their bike tanks for the same reason. It's not recommended as a general two stroke oil as it gums up the engine (or something similar), so that they need regular stripping down and cleaning. This is why it was only usually used on race bikes. I'm not sure if adding just a spoonful would cause any long term problems.

Blimey, you're hardcore you.

I might give that a go on my bike. I might not be able to hear my exhaust... but perhaps I might be able to smell it.

We demonstrated that this is not true yesterday, wiggle the loud handle and voila: Noise, not a screaming R6 noise maybe but noise nonetheless.

Rev-rev, what a giggle.

PS It's all your fault. I'm not to blame at all, oh no.

...I was wondering how long it would be before you picked me up on that! Yes, it's true, I have finally found the real potential of my loud handle... for which I thank you.

So okay, you can hear my bike; but you must admit that you can't see it (not while the headlight's buggered anyway... )

And to stop this post being derailed... yes, I can smell my bike. I like it's smell.
