If I was to choose a group to generalise about it would be 4x4 drivers.
Every ride-out I get at least 1 pull out on me. They look right at you and pull out anyway  They (wrongly) think that because they have a big car they are safe, yet crash tests show they are far from the safest cars on the road. |

I've noticed that most of the bikers I've told about my last off, caused by a SMIDSYing estate driver, respond "Bloody volvo drivers." Now, I'm not sure what sort of car it actually was, but it definately wasn't a Volvo- just that everyone assumes a badly driven estate will be one.

Oi, leave my Volvo out of this :P
It was very cheap, actually it was free, It has 50.000 miles on the clock and was registered in 1995 :P And I just insured it again for £160 |

Driving a V40 and comutting a long distance each day (when using the bike) I have to say that Volvo drivers in Holland are some of the best...
German cars (be it Merc, Audi, VW, Porche - who always try to race me at the lights  ) are the worsrt by far. Followed by anyone in a car smaller than an escort - they seem to leave bkes less room than artics!Stu |
