I could be there early too as I could well have a flat battery, so if it does start I won't be able to risk switching it off and going back in for a cup of tea and if it doesnt I'll need the time to start it off the car....

....not that I have any jump leads

It may well roll start, as I live on a very steep hill

Hopefully it will just start. Going out now and trying would be just plain stupid

Great day, thanks Valleyboy and all.

I failed to spot you pulling in, and there wasnt somewhere to stop for a bit, so after a short wait I headed back to Magor and bumped into Baldyman there. I didnt wait for ages in case you had all gone another way.

Lovely weather and roads. Cold after dusk tho...brrrr!!!

See you all again next fine day I hope. Got you message Stretchie, glad you got home safe

I went out for a couple of hours again this afternoon to play down in the partly built roads in Portishead and work on my ASBO And also found a really lovely muddy lane to skid about in. So Ive had great fun this weekend. I cant wait for the spring, this wekeend's been a great appetiser

Ah, that will be the 'West End Cafe' iirc.

About 4 years ago 12 of us stayed in the big house next door to the cafe forCchristmas.

Had no idea that the quiet little cafe next door was a biker's caff until Boxing day morning when they all rolled in - result!

I went out for a blast today as well.... if it wasnt so bloody cold, I could have sworn it was summer with the sun looking so good

I had one of those rides.. went along part of the route where Mr Subaru nearly rammed us off the road yesterday.... now generaly, I hate dual carriageway, but add in a few roundabouts to negotiate at 80mph.. and they become a bit more interesting :P Think if I was on my old SV, i would have scraped the pegs.. then blasted up the A470 and off at 1000 sheep road.. which was absolutley dry, and no sheep about so i wasnt standing still for long around there....

one hell of a way to get rid of some mild depression

Anyone want to organise a ride somewhere around their way?? Ive diceded this year Im going to get out of South Wales a hell of a lot more! (actualy, move out of it if I get my way! )
Distance is no object.
