ha ha ha!

thanks northwind!

next question.. sorry there are so many...... if i fit it myself (with the aid of a mate) and run it for 3 weeks before getting it remapped (therefore it will be running a bit lean) is that going to cause any damage to the bike/engine???

huge thanks,
yans!

Nah... You need to run seriously lean to do damage in the short term.

My local Homebases have a better range of stuff than the B&Qs, the Homebase own brand stuff, PBX, isn't too shabby in my experience, and very very cheap. For something like a grinder that most people use rarely, could be ideal.

Or Machine Mart, if you have one... Looked down on by many but they have some excellent toys.

Morning lads and ladettes,

Well, I finally had the CCC can fitted on Friday afternoon by my local Suzuki dealer (nearest place), who also re-mapped the ECU at the same time....

....WOW! I absolutely love it..!

The sound is perfect. It has a nice beefy rumble which isn't too over-powering on idle.... a quick blip on the throttle and it livens up and sounds incredible.

The engine a touch smoother and low low pick up in 2nd gear is better too.. it sound great over 6000 rpm's and when you let go of the throttle the sounds is immense!!! I am totally chuffed with my purchase and would recommend it to everyone who wants a non-expensive mod...

I will try and sort a sound clip at the weekend...

Hope this helps all,
yans out.
