With that excellent start to the proceedings, I went to the test centre....

Unfortunately I fluffed the test in about the first minute - forgot to cancel my indicators for a about 100 yards. I also was in the wrong lane for a "straight ahead". My instructor seemed suprised. Only got 4 minors - disapointed but not defeated, plus I've enjoyed every day this week and dropped a bike thast wasn't mine!

Booked for the 9th June but I'm going to keep ringing the DSA number to try and get a cancellation for 25/26th May...
D'oh! I failed my first test for being in the wrong lane for a 'straight on'... see my advice in test blackspots thread here http://forums.sv650.org/viewtopic.php?t=37430 ...

You'll nail it next time.

At least you didn't fail your hazard perception first time.....

Good luck with the next test and whatever you do don't give up (not that you sound like you're going to), you've come this far.[/img]

Rain is a good tester as you have to ride slowly and mega careful.

Perfect for your test.

When it's a nice day then sticking to speed limits is the last thing you want to do.

The key to passing your test is to be confident and relaxed. If you are good enough the tester will see this and he will act accordingly.
