Learnt something else today. Quite chuffed.

Wheelie sat down, stand up while its on the rise, and sit down, then stand up, then sit down, then stand up, etc.

Thats a good video! Kind of shows the good the bad and the ugly, but its damn interesting I find. Do you always stand up to do high wheelies near the balancing point, or can you do them seated? The SV sounds way better than that IL4. Good stuff.

Can do seated, but I can't see where I'm going. Good for car parks, not for roads. When you lean out sideways to see it unsettles the bike sometimes, and when you stand up you don't get the 'oh sh*t I'm gonna fall backwards' reflex kicking in.

Can also kneel on the seat (not brave enough to stand yet) and have both feet on both back pegs, which means no back brake, but luckily the SV has engine braking to feed five.

But if you wanna learn it, standing up is the way to go once you've got the technique down. You'll go much longer.

EDIT" Good, the bad and the ugly? I'm slightly confuzzled.

The good: Some really nice long standing wheelies.
The bad: Some aborted attempts, and your mate on the IL4 can't get it up very well hehe.
The ugly: You are ugly.

Can't really argue with that one.

Ones that fecked up were trying to shift into second or when the kerb came at me with an evil look. Very first one is the pillion wheelie, as you can see its a very wobbly road.

Well I'm usually one for full gear, but I can't stand up right on the pegs with my boots on.

And as for the gixer, that just goes to show how much stock sucks.
