they are really worth having though.
i read in another thread that the halfords ones are poo?

osram silverstars seem to be the best buy IOPO
nope, the halford ones are much brighter than the phillips xtra vision (in my bike anyway)

cant comment on the osram's, ive never used em.

dont forget that a bulb is only as good as your reflecters.
dont know if it makes a differance but have you a pointy or curvey?

& you say £20 each + 1 free .............so as you need 2 it is £20 to change them?

I made it! Not the most fun I ever had, and I think i got gatso'd although no-body is sure. Plenty of speed camras on teh run from kingston to palmers green, i think i came across one every 5 mins or so

Still, good job i went last night! This morning we all woke up to a world covered in snow

Looking warmer for the return ride on sunday, when I should have my nice new shiny helmet which hopefulyl wont mist up

i have neither a pointy or a curvy, i have what is known as a "fast" one.

your mathematics are indeed correct.

20 times 1 is 20.

if you had 2 bikes, each requiring 2 bulbs, you would need 4 bulbs.
20 times 2 is 40.

The results have been achieved in the same way as the 30 and 50 per cent lamps-by taking the allowed tolerances right to the edge. This time though as well as reducing the filament and burning it hotter, Philips has shrunk the glass casing.

As a result, the gas pressure can be increased for better light output.Engineers have also optimised the geometry and shield position to focus the light where it is needed.
£25 out of stock from powerbulbs as above.
What bulbs do curvey's use - I've always wanted to know, not having one.

Quite happy with my Silverstars
