Think I'll go for Muc off chain lube to start with - recommended in Ride, and they stock it at my local Halfrauds.

well done billy. get yourself a scotoiller will prolong the life of the chain. dont use a disc lock for a while cos everyone at some point drives off with them in place. enjoy yourself and stay safe

Wurth Dry Lube...tried a few, I always ended up preferring this one. Only downside is the amount of shaking you have to do beforehand and the fact that I reckon the smell of it is rather addictive

Lube the chain as often as it needs it. In my mind there isn't a set rule for this...if it needs lubing then lube it!! Things like storage (outside?under cover?garage?) and the weather on your last ride will be major factors.
